We have so much exciting news for this coming month, not least of which is the latest feather in our cap, Hilda winning Emerging Entrepreneur from the Businesswomen's Association! With Women's Day approaching we have a month full of activities planned for you, daily giveaways, a week of exceptional talks by leading se.xologist Jonti Searll, and so much more. But before we get carried away with excitement, here are all the details...

Emerging Entrepreneur Award

We are thrilled to announce that Hilda won this impressive accolade at a black tie gala event held at the ICC last night by the Businesswomen's Association, South Africa's largest and most prominent association of business and professional women (www.bwasa.co.za). Hilda was nominated in the category Emerging Entrepreneur, and was not only a finalist, but went on to win. We continue to be delighted by the recognition that we and our boutique are receiving and as usual, thank each and every one of you for making it possible for us to live our dreams. The theme song last night, "Sisters are doin' it for themselves" by Aretha Franklin and Annie Lenox was apt indeed, considering our business, nudge, nudge, wink, wink.

Women's Day Giveaways

YAY, YAY, it's Women's Day! As usual, we have some rather exciting things planned for the whole month of August, and Women's Day in particular. During the month of August, we will be giving something away EVERY DAY! What's the catch? You need to be in the know! On Women's Day itself, Monday 9 August, we have 5 sets of Princess Tam Tam lingerie to giveaway! Sizes will likewise be announced during the course of the day via Facebook or Twitter. Playshops - Jonti Searll

We are very proud to be hosting a number of workshops with renowned Jonti Searll, the country’s leading teacher in the fields of se.xuality and sen.suality, here at The Bedroom. Jonti is committed to helping you heal, explore, grow and experience in the world of se.xuality and sen.suality, to understand the possibilities of pleasure, the connection between se.x and spirituality, the healing power of se.xual energy and the sacredness of our bodies.
This is a real treat for Durbanites as Jonti has appeared on Carte Blanche, 3Talk, Below the Belt, The Wedding Show, Great Expectations, etc. and has also written for and been featured in Men’s Health, Cleo, Longevity, O Magazine, Marie Claire, Shape, You, Pulse, Style, De Kat, Manwees, etc. so you are guaranteed to learn an enormous amount from these fabulous workshops.
