About us
Making women feel sexy and confident is the goal of The Bedroom. Attitudes to sexuality are changing and women all over the world are taking charge of their sensual lives and unmasking what it means to be a woman.
The Bedroom is a boutique by women for women, specialising in the art of pleasure. It is a place where women are free to celebrate their sensuality and feel comfortable discussing their innermost desires with women like themselves.
Owner, Chantal Edouard-Betsy feels that women spend time dressing up to go to work to make the right impression. However, when they get home, they take off the jewellery and make up, pull on a tired old T-shirt and still expect fireworks in the bedroom. “Sex is a psychological as well as physical pleasure.” She explains. “Sending your partner a sexy SMS while he is at work, lighting some scented candles and enjoying a luxurious bath before slipping into a beautiful piece of lingerie creates a sense of anticipation for you and your lover.”
In a comfortable and private environment you are encouraged to explore erotic options that will excite you and your partner.
The boutique
Rich, warm colours and comfortable furniture greet you as you enter the boutique. In a sleaze-free environment, you can sign up for our book club evening, arrange a photography session, enrol for a dancing class or browse our range of exquisite linen, lingerie, sensual oils, books & games. Our boutique is arranged so that your experience is a journey – how deeply you explore is entirely up to you. Chantal will be available to assist you on your journey with helpful advice and ideas.
